Finding The Right Laptop Computer Backpack

Those of us who are especially lucky after the Christmas gift giving might find ourselves with a pretty nice Laptop Computer. What a great gift, you'll find that you'll never leave home with out it. But after a few days the excitement might wear off when you realize it's kind of annoying taking it around and worrying about dripping it etc. The solution is pretty simple. Invest in a Laptop Computer Backpack. It is a simple investment; after all, it's just a backpack. But, it makes having a laptop so much nicer. You can take it with you everywhere you go and have everything you need with it to. The only dilemma is what laptop computer backpack is right for you? Well, I present the 5 main considerations when picking the computer bag that is right for you.

1) Find a backpack that fits your bag snugly. You don't need to see it to make sure it works, but you definitely don't want to have your 12 inch laptop in a backpack that is designed for a 17 inch backpack. Most bags and backpacks designed for laptop computers will have some kind of foam or outer protection for the laptop. Both of these will keep your computer from bouncing around.

2) Make sure that the style of the bag fits your lifestyle. My first bag for my laptop was a leather briefcase. I made sure that I got a nice one and it did the job pretty well. But I found that if I had to walk a distance with my briefcase that it was kind of annoying and made me walk weird with all of that weight on one side. But, I just recently got my pick from a list of laptop computer backpacks and I love it. No more walking weird, I don't not want to bring my laptop anywhere. It is actually really comfortable. It is want I want. Make sure that you backpack fits your lifestyle. If you ride your bike to work, a bag without shoulder-straps would obviously have limitations. If you are a businessman and want to always look professional, maybe my briefcase would be a better choice. Just make sure that it works for you.

3) Find a look that is right for you. Many business women, for example, don't want to be seen carrying a big briefcase that looks like it was built for men. They would probably prefer looking for women's laptop cases. You would actually be pretty surprised at how nice some of these bags look. A far cry from the standard black laptop computer briefcase.

4) Find a good price. Shop around and make sure that you're getting what you want, for the price you want. Obviously nice backpacks, bags, or briefcases are going to be nicer and more expensive. But you shouldn't be spending hundreds of dollars for the laptop computer backpack that you want.

5) Find a good brand. A lot of the trendy women's laptop cases aren't going to be offered by the big brands. But, you can usually trust those. But for your standard laptop computer backpacks, stick with the brands that you've heard of (such as Targus, or Ogio). They have a good name for a reason. Or do your research and make sure you know what you're getting.

Laptop Computer Backpacks can be a cheap, but great investment. It will change the relationship that you have with your laptop computer.

Deal Or No Deal: A Mix Of Luck And Skill

Deal or No Deal is a television game show that has turned the history of game shows on end. The show is aired in many different countries worldwide and the loyal fans count into the millions. There are many different versions of the game since each country pretty well has its own version hosted by a local celebrity. Sometimes the rules vary a little from country to country, but basically they all play out the same way. One thing is for sure, in just about every country the game is viewed in, Deal or No Deal has quickly risen to the top of the charts for popular game shows.

What makes Deal or No Deal so popular?

Deal or No Deal has a unique mix of pure luck combined with the skill of determining a good bank offer and the talent for calculating the odds of winning a big jackpot. It appears that many players get swept up in the excitement of playing and winning big money; and therefore make costly mistakes when responding to the banker. Sometimes it is a good idea to go for the big money and at other times, the player is much better off by accepting a bank offer. To walk away with the maximum amount of money possible requires one to be level headed and constantly calculating the odds.

The version of Deal or No Deal that is aired in the United States starts a new player off with 26 briefcases. At the beginning of the game, the player selects the first briefcase and keeps it at his side. If the player declines all bank offers, this will be the case the contestant will open last to see what he has won. So you can see that the chances for winning a huge lump sum from Deal or No Deal depends upon picking the correct case right from the start.

That is why dealing with the bank becomes so important. The player may take home less than he would have otherwise, but if done correctly, he can still go home with a bundle. Each offer from the banker must be analyzed against the number of briefcases left unopened and the number of large sums as of yet undiscovered.

Deal or no deal is a game of both luck and skill.

Picking which briefcase to open is a matter of luck, but determining if the banker's offer is a good one requires some degree of skill if the contestant is to have the best chance of winning a big payout in Deal or No Deal.

Deal or No Deal is a fun and exciting game to watch. We root for each contestant to win as much as they can and if luck is on their side along with their ability to calculate odds and take risks, then they have a good chance of winning it big.

Heavy Hand Bags and Back Pains

So have you noticed a fashion trend lately?

No, we’re not talking about shoes or hair styles; the discussion is on accessories–specifically, hand bags.

They’re getting bigger and bigger.

Is that causing women to suffer more aches and pains?

When we’re talking fashion, usually we’re talking about high heels and how they’re bad for the feet and the posture; but this is a lot like the issue of backpacks–what you’re carrying in your dior could be putting too much strain on your back and spine.

Still, it’s not hard to find folks who are sore from all that schlepping.

“My shoulder hurts a lot at the end of the day,” says Rosa.

Celia adds, “All the time, right now my left shoulder is killing me, I think over stuffing the bags, you don’t know if you should bring two small ones or one large one and no matter how you work it you put to much in them.”

Experts say those over-sized bags may leave you with back, neck and shoulder pain, even headaches and maybe even arthritis.

Dr. Andrew Casden, Associate Director of the Spine Institute at Beth Israel Medical Center, says, “Some people may notice some numbness or tingling of their hand,//there are some important nerves that go down the arm that are located near the shoulder region that get irritated by a heavy bag.”

If your purse is uncomfortable when you put it on, if you can feel it pulling on your shoulder, it may be time to downsize your bag.

“Ten to fifteen pounds begins to be a lot of strain on their back,” says Dr. Casden. Still he says the pain is temporary; the back will heal.

“These structures are strong, they are resistant and although they may have variations in their shape I don’t think carrying a bag is going to cause any permanent change in their posture,” says Dr. Casden.

According to the American Chiropractic Association, carry only the items that are required for each particular day.

But whose to say what’s required?

“I’m carrying a video camera, shoes because I am going to do the sneaker thing, and of course the purse has the wallet, the lipstick, the notebook, all that kind of stuff,” says Jennifer Androvic.

Now, you can always carry something with wheels; or you can carry a backpack.

“But it is not fashionable to wear backpacks at least not for us girls, guys can pull it off, but I am a little concerned,” says Jennifer.

Don’t be.

“All the fashions will change and they will probably get small again,” says Dr. Casden.

Avoid a heavy bag worn over one shoulder.

If you must use a bag or briefcase with a single strap, make sure the strap is padded and wide.

The ACA suggests wearing a strap that is long enough to place over the head resting on the opposite side of the bag or briefcase.

This can help to distribute the weight more evenly.

Also, try to put the bulk of the purse toward the center of the body, perhaps in front of the body. The strap should rest close to the neck.
