Standard briefcase measurements?
Can you answer kC's question about briefcases?:
Hi. This is just a simple question. Do briefcases have a standard measurement/size (dimensions)? I'm talking about the common briefcases that people use in the office. I just have something in mind and i need the answer to this question to help me.

The best I can find is 19"x14"x6"
There is not a "standard" size for a briefcase. Originally they were sized to fit a folded newspaper, but lately the airline carry-on restrictions dictate the maximum size allowed. While each airline has its own set of requirements, eBags has identified 22" x 14" x 9" or 45" total (height + width + length) as a basic measure for consumers to follow when making purchase decisions.
